1. Tool Inputs and Calculations
UtiliShift is built upon a local-first architecture. All unit conversions, mathematical calculations, word counts, and financial or health checks are performed entirely in your browser using client-side JavaScript.
Tool inputs, calculations, text contents, and values are not intentionally uploaded or stored by UtiliShift when you use our client-side tools. Some features may use third-party services only when you choose to use them; their handling is governed by their own policies.
2. Local Storage
We use your browser's local storage (LocalStorage) solely to display a list of your "Recently Used" calculators. This list is saved locally on your device and is never sent to our servers. You can clear this list at any time by clearing your browser cache.
3. Advertising, Analytics and Cookies
We use Google AdSense and Google Analytics to fund, operate, measure, and improve the service. These providers may process device, browser, IP-derived, usage, and cookie information to provide advertising, analytics, security, fraud prevention, and measurement services.
Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve and measure ads, including personalised ads where permitted and where you have consented. Where a consent message is displayed, you can accept, reject, or manage choices through its privacy controls, and you can manage Google advertising preferences through Google's Ad Settings. 4. Analytics
We use aggregate and event-level analytics, such as page views, device category, approximate geographic region, and performance information, to improve page speed and user experience. We do not sell contact-form details.
5. Contact Inquiries
If you use the contact form, the name, email address, subject, and message you enter are sent to our contact endpoint to process your request. The current application does not persist these details in its own database; if you choose to continue a conversation through an external service, that service's privacy policy also applies.
